Introduction:
My Cassidy Family originated in Ireland with one Patrick Cassidy who was the father of Peter (aka Patrick) Cassidy, born Ireland 1824. Patrick Snr and Peter travelled to Scotland and thence to Sunderland, England where Peter married Elizabeth Drody (aka Drodie) and raised his family in the 1800s. I will attempt to set out in a logical order the known descendants of Peter Cassidy and the known facts pertaining to each individual.
